The "FAPN Air-Fuel Positioner" is an electronic version of the traditional mechanical linkage cam mechanism used for combustion control in burners for boilers and industrial furnaces. It maximizes the combustion efficiency of the burner and enables operation at a low air-fuel ratio (low O₂). It takes a combustion load signal (4-20mA DC) as input and converts it into an optimal function (piecewise linear).
